Bluewater Carpet is owned and operated by Carolina Beach native, Travis Koontz. Travis, along with wife, Brittany, and their little girl, call the Wilmington area home and enjoy serving families and businesses in the Port City area. Travis and Brittany became foster parents in 2017 and partner with their local foster care community to provide safety and care to children during times of crisis. As a family, they enjoy spending time on the boat and at the beach. Their three dogs, as well as their busy family give them plenty of opportunities to practice their carpet cleaning skills in their own home!
Travis graduated from UNCW with a Bachelor of Science in 2006; he started Bluewater his senior year at UNCW and has been helping create healthy home and business environments ever since. Certified by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration, Travis stays up to date on progressive techniques, tools and cleaning solutions through research and continuing education.
